Happy Birthday Emma!

Today is a very special day for me. Four years ago today I took on the most important job I will ever have---the job of Mom. It came along with all sorts of new-mom jitters, but it has been the greatest gift I have ever received. The love I feel from my daughters is so incredible, and I am so thankful for them. It is hard to believe that 4 years ago today I began this adventure in Motherhood---and now I am a Mom to 2 (soon to be 3) girls.

To us Emma you were so tiny...8 lbs. 4. oz and 21 inches. You were such a good baby, and even now you give so much love to people.
Things I love about you:
---your excitement over the littlest things.
---your ability to dance and sing OR be silly and goofy without being self conscious over who may be watching.
---your laugh and smile.
---how you have this desire to learn about anything and everything. You are so smart!
---you are a wonderful sister to Olivia. You make her (and everyone around) so happy.
---you are so caring, kind, and helpful. Always wanting to lend a hand to help me with whatever I may be doing.

4 years ago today I became a Mom
4 years ago today I fell in love, instantly
4 years ago today my life changed forever and for the better
4 years ago today Emma was born and it has been a joy & pleasure to get to know her, love her, and teach her.
Happy Birthday Sweet Emma! Your family loves you so much and we are so thankful you are in our family.

Baby girl #3!

Each pregnancy Aaron and I always come up with our top 3 names and choose from there. The name Abigail has always been in our top 3 but we always end up picking something else. This time we are going to name her Abigail. It is obviously one of our favorite names since it is always in our top 3.  It has been the only name that keeps staying in our top 3.

We are still trying to decide on a way to spell her name, however I think we will spell it Abigail. We tend to go with the more traditional spellings when we name our kids so I don't think we will deter from that. As far as a middle name there are two names we are currently deciding on. However, we will most likely wait to decide on her middle name until we see her. It feels great to know that we have decided on a first name and that is has always been one of our favorites.

I am so anxious and excited to meet her!
